How Does An Oral Pathology Exam Work?
During your oral pathology exam, Dr. Dorsett or Dr. Orr will carefully inspect the inside of your mouth, your jaw, and surrounding tissues. They will look for any abnormalities or possible signs of oral cancer, such as unexplained lumps, sores that don't heal, or red or white patches on the soft tissues of your mouth. If any concerns are found, they may remove a small sample for our oral pathology laboratory to analyze. Once we have more detailed results, we'll schedule a follow-up appointment to review them with you. This exam is essential for detecting oral health issues early and ensuring prompt treatment when necessary.

Oral Surgery Associates Gadsden Reviews
I really don't remember much about my visit. They gave me Triazolam to take 1 hr before so therefore, I don't remember. They did take very good care of me during procedure. I remember it hurting a little and someone patting me on my shoulder saying, we're almost finished it's ok. I haven't had any problems just waiting for swelling to go away & still sore.
Great office with fantastic staff! I went here as an emergency for a severe tongue wound. I had fell, and when I fell I bit down THROUGH my tongue with my eye tooth on left side. Dr. Dorsett & staff took imaging to ensure there was no internal damage, and he checked for infection. Everything was 5 stars from the initial call to make the appointment (which was only days before) to check out. Definitely 👍🏼 recommend this office & staff for any/all oral surgery needs!!
