Oral Surgeon Frank E. Orr, DDS
A native of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, Dr. Orr attended Ouachita Baptist University on a football scholarship and graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Chemistry. He was a Distinguished Military Graduate in OBU’s ROTC program and received a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army upon graduation. He received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio. After entry on active duty in the Army Dental Corps, he completed a one year General Practice Residency at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Subsequently he completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, Washington. He and his family lived in many different locations during his 25 years of military service, including six years in Germany. He was Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Fort Campbell, Kentucky for the four years prior to moving to Gadsden. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Orr and his wife, Susie, have two sons who are both physicians.
