Oral Surgeon Cecil Dorsett DMD
Dr. Dorsett is a native of Gadsden and a graduate of the University of Alabama. He received his D.M.D. Degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham, Alabama. After dental school, he served in the U.S. Army where he completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, Washington. He held several positions in the military, culminating as the Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Training Program at Fort Gordon, Georgia. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and belongs to numerous other professional organizations.
Dr. Dorsett is married and he and his wife, Barbara, reside in Gadsden. They have two children, Christopher and Kaity.
